I thought we were doing no Eevee-lutions? I've never heard of Volareon except for the Wing Stone's use. Maybe we should ditch that item (or at least Volareon).
cuddles suggested an item for Pokémon that evolve by shedding skin. Some kinda molt-inducer...I can't think of a good name for it.

That's Valoreon?
It doesn't look much like I would picture an Eevee-lution to be... (tilts head)
So is it Wind type or something?
Oh yeah. We should make an item that forces Graveller, Haunter, Machoke, and Kadabra to evolve without trading to be fair to those that have the offline version. We should also enable you to simply use the required item on a Pokémon to evolve without trading for the same reason (for example, I simply use a Metal Coat on a Scyther to evolve it into Scizor).

I agree with Ket Shi... It doesn't look like and Eeveelution... It looks like its own branch of evo

www.freewebs.com/taion_hohpo_adventures/newthings.htmCheck there. It's WING Stone. That's because the Eevee is a Flying type. I'm pretty sure it's Shadolf's, so Ket, if you've got some other ideas talk to her about it. I'm just putting it down since that it was up at the site. Shedding Skin... Hmmm.. I don't think we should limit such a creative method of evolving to an item. We don't want ALL things swamped with items. Perhaps, in the game, we could have a specific place where it would activate the Shedding process. We could make it be like a Hut or Shrine or Spring or something...

Maybe Crystal Scale or so?

Meh. Another Scale would be redundant. I know that we've got "Wing Stone", which basically screams redudancy... But, that's not my problem! Try something more creative Steel.

mm yeah maybe Wizards Staff have 2 wizards in my game and maybe that will help do think it is ok?

Wizard's.. Staff..? That'd be awkward if we gave it to a Pokemon that couldn't even hold it! And so far, I don't think we have any Pokemon that have a 'magic atmosphere' to them, aside from the Seerion evolutions, and they evolve through Night/Day.

This is going to be revived. I feel that we should add a few more item-based evolutions in this game, even maybe some item combos like holding a King's Rock and using a Water Stone for example. I like different ways of evolution and it gives us, ourselves, a chance to show creativity.

Just as long as we don't needlessly over complicate evolutions (Ex: Hold these 2 Items while at Max Happiness and Toughness, then trade!) and create items just for the sake of evolving every single Pokemon. If we do make up a new Evolution item on the spot, I say that it needs to have a 2 Pokemon Evolution minimum. I'm also in the mood for reusing old items to get better use out of them. I've always been a little downheartened with Items like the Dragonscale, Deepseascale, and Deepseatooth, which have no other purpose than to evolve.

I just used King's Rock and Water Stone as an example by the way, for those who were wondering. I don't necessarily know what we could pull off with two items and which Pokemon line it would make useful on.

I have added the pre-evo items on the top of the list. It's the final list of items for them.

I don't want to be a nitty-picker, but if a Baby Lapras was possible with Sea Incense, then it would've been seen in the other games (R/S and FR/LG). But since there's no evidence of anything happening to the Lapras newborn while the parents hold Sea Incense, it can't logically occur now. I like the idea of reusing old items, but this is about as doable as giving Elekid a Thunder Stone to evolve.

After all, that is why they added incenses, so nobody would wonder "Hmmm, why couldn't I get them in the GSC games?" It will be a different item. How about Mystic Water?

No, they could have done that in G/S/C. Hows about a whole new item, that has to do with Lapras' shell?

Shoot you are right. I keep forgetting.
A new item. I like the Shell idea. No Shell Bell, though.
Any ideas? I am confounded.

How bout the Elegant Shell or Ancient Shell? Spike Shell sounds too much like Omastar.

I like elegant shell. Ancient Shell seems too "fossilish" for my taste. Elegant Shell sounds good. So do you have any ideas for the wind type Senator? By the way everybody Senator and I made: Crystal Gem - Crystal type item Prism - Light type item - Wind type item.

_____ Charm. Insert a weather condition or somehting here. I like Typhoon Charm.

Oh for Power-Ups? I could try and make them... However, I don't like there names... Prism is a move and Gem is to commonly used.
How about
Quartz Charm
Sol Necklace
Wind:
Lofty Ring

Post by Darth Kiwi on Feb 29, 2004 20:36:20 GMT
Quartz isn't a weather condition. And what types are these for?
|
|
|
Post by BuffyBoy on Feb 29, 2004 20:38:34 GMT
You don't know what quartz is?
Sol means sun
Lofty isn't the right word...
or for Crystal we could use just Quartz or some other gem... I could make that
Let me think... Wind Stone (not interesting, but just as effective)
For Light:
Light Ray
