I did this map this morning..it's Maplewood Town, the starting town.

It's perfect The only thing it could use is a bit more rougher grass, those little dirt things by the door (ZOG! Let's make Welcome mats!) We really need to finish a complete tileset. As soon as all of RSFRLGE is done being ripped, and when Remy locates his mass of tiles.

I just fixed the grass. Right after I uploaded I realized that I forgot to add to the grass, so that's fixed.
I'll do the little dirt patches too.
Edit: all done...check it out ;D
I'm going to try and do one or two maps a day...it all depends on how busy I am outside of this, and how large any particular map is. But I'm having a surge of motivation lately so I'm going to try.

Whee!!
Too bad your MSN crapped out my PM box is getting awful full.
Have you tried Trillian or GAIM or something similar? Or the PT chat when you are on.

I've started on Route 56, Hillside Town, and Edgegrove City. Right now I am going to my grandparents' house for a Father's Day picnic or something...I'll be back later tonight and try and finish those.
On a side note...look! 2006 posts, next year...Class of '06!

Here's Hillside: Tonight I will attempt to do the route between the two maps and also Edgegrove. If I get those done quickly, I might be able to start on Route 57 (the route between Hillside and Edgegrove).

FMY..I was going to ask you. Is there any way to have a town/route/place editor like there was while we were with the other host? If so, could you add that some time so we can make the pages for it? Just wondering, it'd be cool if you could.

Thanks for all the compliments guys. However, I seem to be having a weird color problem that I cannot find the source of.

Well, I'm using Paint, but since a lot of the stuff is in PNG, my other computer which I was using earlier didn't support PNG, so I had to open it in IE and copy to Paint. Maybe that was the problem, but whatever it is, I solved now. It was very minor, but I was making a bigger deal out of it than necessary because it stumped me.
At the moment I am working on Route 56. Routes take longer, unfortunately.

Here's Maplewood, Route 56, and Hillside all together: I realize that I haven't put the other patches of grass on Route 56, but I have to run out and go somewhere quickly. I will finish it by tonight, and HOPEFULLY finish Edgegrove as well. Hope you guys like it!

Those are nice, but they look a bit too similar. Taion's tropical right? A bit inland can still have sandy beach lakes in the city, a few palms. And I'm sure we still don't have a complete tileset.
We have a graveyard somewhere right? I still have rocketsshellders' tilesets (Is he in the credits?)
On the Paint note, ou gotta get the GIMP at gimp.org. FREE alternative of photoshop.
And on another note, can I post these at places I've advertised?
EDIT by FMY: It's gimp.org Matt, not .com. Also, it's a free alternative, not version. I don't think Adobe will every come out with something like that.

It'll change. After Peachblossom Woods it will get very rocky, and then after Montemore it will get deserty, then you'll go to Towerblock where you'll get part tropical/temperate, and then after that it's pretty much all tropics, except for the Starlight area and the Elite Four section (Silverblade, was it?), which is temperate.

I'm thinking the graveyard will be by the Deserted Tower, possibly. OR it could be around Starlight.
