Basically the houses are not planned yet, though it would be nice to gather up all things like HM locations, TM locations (if received by a person in a house), and places like Move Relearners, Name Raters, etc. I don't expect too many to be here in the first few, which is good, but I think Cut will be in one of these houses. I got this far...I have another exam tomorrow that I completely forgot to study one of my sheets for, so I have to do that yet, but here's what I have done on Route 57. I will have it finished tomorrow night.

Lookin good so far, but I got a question-
Are we eventually adding headbutt trees, or are some of those headbutt trees?
Also, I had an idea that cononut/palm trees could be used as headbutt trees to get conut berries (Which will also grow on the regular, smaller plant) and perhaps some birds (So many ideas for more Pokemon...Beavers, parrots and other tropical birds. FLAMINGOS!!!..)

We'll make some of them Headbutt trees if necessary.
And that sounds good. In fact, I wonder why it hasn't been brought up sooner. Conut berries from headbutting a palm tree. That's a good idea. But we'll still have the regular small tree for self-planting.

I guess that Pokemon Treasures are using 32bit tiles?

OK, I posted this at PC (Other places to come. At many affiliate forums, future affiliates forums etc.) and I got 5 replies already, one being Jason. The only feedback was about the houses in Edgegrove something about the *yawn* I forget. 'Twill come in the morn.

Matt
you are reffering to Blueguy's Looks pretty well done... though the buildings are too brownish-orange. I reccomend that the roof be differently colored than the main part of the buildings.

Yeah that's it.
And if by 32-bit colour you mean full-colour? Yes.

I guess that Pokemon Treasures are using 32bit tiles? I don't even think we'll come over 8bit. The map above is only using 199 colors, so we can use 56 more to reach the maximum of that. It is however saved in 32bit, but we'll convert that back to 8 bit for having a smaller filesize. And for Shadolf. Very nice done again, but what's supposed to come where there's no lakeborder? Success with your exam!

I do 25 minutes revision the night before and I do well enough, but then again, Grade 8 exams are a joke.

Thanks everybody! I just got home, so I will be working diligently and finish this.
FMY--that's where the bridge thingy will go. I left those border spots blank so I could remember where I would put them.
Fwiffo--I had English (which I just found out I got a 99% on...I almost fainted when I found out because I hate that class, and I was never that great at it..I was hyperventilating though), Biology (Living Environment, whatever you want to call it), and US History. I would have taken Physics this year, but my whole science course has been screwed up throughout high school. I might take it next year, but I am unsure right now.

Wait, Shadolf, how do you get across the pond? Is there going to be a way to get around it(I assume it is this BECAUSE you said you didn't finish it.)?

3 Exams on one day? Man that's a lot! We only have one a day, or 2 sometimes. How much time do you get for it then? We get 2-5 hours/exam. Congratulations on your points however.

Ooo no...if it was that many, I would die.
English was a combined six hours...three hours each on Thursday and Friday. Yesterday was US history and today was biology. But I stayed at school and helped my friends study for their chemistry exam, since I took it last year.
Update--I'm working on the wild grass right now. After that I will add the flowers, and I think that will be it. Then I will post it.
I'm going to be skipping Peachblossom Woods until Remy comes back and has the tiles for it. Next will be Rosefield City, and then Route 58. However, tonight I will probably make the ungridded versions of the current maps and post them in the completed map archive. Then if I have time, I will begin to work on Rosefield.

Yeah, we need to get Remy to fix up those house roofs from Edgegrove. It's the only critisism so far!
Should I add a "Staff Only" maps archive for the secret places?
Also, For every route (Or almost every route) I was thinking about a sky route. The same size, but the map at half size below (In clear weather it shows, otherwise there's clouds or whatnot) Since the map would be smaller, you will either be able to see the maps next to it, or we'd blur out what's next to it to make it bovious what you're over. Also, secret places you fly over, or places you haven't been yet you can't land in due to hazardour weather, thick treetops etc.
We need to set landing places on routes so you can't just land anywhere on them.

I come to like that idea more and more. Finally I'll be able to fly like I always wanted. We won't need to make special maps for it though. Well, we just need to blur them a little, and resize them maybe, but that takes about 2 minutes (for all) with photoshop.

Well the idea is like this
[][][][][][][][][][] [][][][][][][][][][] [][][][][][][][][][] [][][][][][][][][][] [][][][][][][][][][] [][][][][][][][][][]
There's your tiled map. Now, when in the sky, it will be half the size in both dimenstions, so 1/4
[][][][][] [][][][][] [][][][][]
Now, this is alot smaller, right? However, being above the old map, it should act as the same size, right? For each tile below is a tile above. So we make a prism effect to show. From the corners of the map, a line goes up to the corners of your new map, and anything outside the map below, the edges blur.
Catch what I'm trying to get at?
Also, the new subboards are created for all I can think of.

I'm liking the idea!
Almost finished...but it's taking longer than expected. I have no tests tomorrow, I'm done with school until September, so I will stay up as late as necessary to finish this.
