Nah, leave it for now. We'll see when it's in the engine. I don't really know what you could do now.. maybe extend the first route a little bit. Or use the original first route to make a second route. Also, remember we have some water flowers and plants that you can add on REMY's sheet. I might extend it later, but I thought the first routes were always short and small. :/ Update: i39.photobucket.com/albums/e200/MLScott/PeachBlossomWoods1.pngPeach Blossom Woods, its big so I put the link to it. I still need to add the pokeball overworlds once I get them.

Y'know.. looking at it again, taht grass looks too normal. I should have thought of that earlier sorry. Don't worry about changing it, we'll just do it when it's XML'd. I think some of Remy's grass tiles might be appropriate. Also, I might add some of Remy's random one-tile plants and stuff to it. What do you think, MLS?

The contrast is quite strong here. Some one should make pink ground and pink grass.

I was also thinking something in the vein of the FRLG 9x9 trees used in Viridian forest, but pink.

Please soften the pink. Even in cartoons, I've never seen such lurid peach blossoms. They need to be more pastel to aid with the contrast and make the scene 'complete'.

Remy's all tied up at the moment.. I'll have a go at recolouring them some time. For now, we'll leave that as it is. Easier to change the tree file in the XML, as usual..

XD
You can do whatever you think is best. I prefer soft, pastel colors myself. And you can add what ever you want.
What do you mean by "taht grass looks too normal"?
P.S. Sorry I haven't been around much the past 3 days, I've been busy.

Well, it looks too much like flat grass that lots of people walk on, rather than the grass in a forest, you know? And don't worry about it, I won't be as active as usual over the next few weeks I think..

You can't XD Don't worry, the coded map is fine. the trees have been cleared and some flat grass added.

Well route 57 is done. I tried uploading it to photobucket, but it wont work, its way too big. Does anyone know an image host that can host very large images? (More than 800x600;pb' max) The route isn't very wide, but it is longer than 600 pixels. Thanks.

Yeah, taht would be much easier, to be honest. You'll need either an ftp client, or you could try putting this address in your browser: ftp.servage.netIf it asks for a username and password, you don't need an FTP client. But you will need a username and password XD I'll e-mail you mine for now, hopefully FMY will see this and make you an account of your own.

Oh, now that we're on the subject, I've moved all my non-Pokemon junk out of xfiles and onto different hosting, so hopefully it's a bit neater in there now

Here is kinda an unfinished version using just my sprites (mostly new at that) not complete but almost there .... I am not so much tied up as just not having enough time for everything ... by no means does this mean I will be doing all the maps ... I personally would have like to have seen mainly new sprites to be used to make a large % of the maps rather than using a huge range of rehashs of old tiles from old games ... but that just me hopeing we can look.... the best ..... have a look at this and think ... comments ... Maplewood town EDIT here is The route to Hillside REMY~

I don't know, I like this, but I like the original sprites too. I especially like the old (normal) grass, but your water, flowers, fences and briefcases are awesome.

I can always use the old grass thats not a problem or make one that is similar to the old grass ... its not a huge problem ... and thank happy you like it ........

I always find with your sprites, that with Nintendo's stuff yours look fantastic; a map made ofJUST your sprites, though, tends not to look so much like a Pokémon game. They kind of remind me of Zelda or Harvest Moon. We'll definititely 'mix' the two versions of the maps together though. The great thing about your maps are the little realistic details, like the water plants and the edges of grass and dirt.
