Man, that will be a long time to wait, but it was comfirmed by Nintendo that US would get the FR and LG games on September WITH the cordless linking thingy. Sounds good, I like the fact it comes together with it. Man, I can't wait! ;D

Yes, I'm not exactly thrilled about it. I wish it would be released sooner. I mean R/S were released four months apart, and these are released 8? It's not fair...

What is the wireless thing, exactly? Like a wireless link cable?

Yeah that's it, Sneasel. You can play with people from even across the room. But there is a limit. It reaches far, but it doesn't reach forever though. It's compatible with games like FR and LG and it's great if you have it, since you can even "chat" with the players. It sounds like real fun.

But the chatting capability will be kind of useless. The person is sitting right across the room, and you have to move the little cursor over the letter, press A, go to the next letter, etc. But there will be stations in certain stores where you can aline the reciever with something and recieve special items, Pokemon, etc.

This wireless link will be more of a liability than help.
Firstly, 1. I know no one else that is interested in Pokémon 2. I will buy both versions...and get two wireless thingys. 3. The wireless bumps up the price $10 per game 4. The wireless also pushes back the release date as well...darn. It's hard to be patient for your Ditto, Ponyta, etc, ever since you realized that the majority of GSC and RBGY Pokémon aren't availible in RS.
Oh well. I'm looking forward to the Move Tutors for Body Slam and Double-Edge because although Return is incredibly powerful, happiness resets if you trade.
Mmm, Brick Break and Dig buyable... Shadow Ball and Iron Tail availible for purchase at the Game Corner. Buyable elemental stones. Old favorites back. (begins to salivate) Gosh, the features are almost too good to be true (excepting the fact that I've actually played the things and personally comfirmed them).
Finally, some Pokémon will have potential! Remember how sucky Hitmonchan was is RBGY? Crappy attacks, poor special defense. Now if you want an all-out offensive set, load him up with Brick Break, Rockslide, Earthquake, and Bulk Up to not only get a versatile battler but a great asset for breeding moves onto other Humanshape Pokémon.

Ah yes, the wonders of marketing and advertising. Saying that it comes free with the games, but yet those games' prices are bumped up $10
