I just want to help with desicions. I want to suggest things and how to make it better. But, if you don't want me to help deciding, I won't. So it's your choice.

I don't think we need to add dp pkmn, besides it would take way to long.

If we use DP style sprites and revamp ours, they can be added in a breeze since other than the front and back sprites the data is identical to ours.

So if nobody wants DP pokemon, then I say no DP style, again.

Well it's not a vote I saying, as an admin, that we're not doing DP pokémon yet, and not for a long time. Me and BB are dead against, Matt doesn't mind, and MLS likes the size but not the pogeymans. It's something we can do after the game is out; before then, we need to concentrate on making the game itself.

Again I really have no say in this and I'm sure you'll counter with some "well they can use a different engine then" bit, but certain games using the engine would have to completely revamp their sprites as well when the switch is made (Cyare for example is introducing just over 500 Pokémon, they already have to make 1000 sprites, they'd have to make another thousand to cope).
I wouldn't be so concerned but you really seem intent on not doing it. Why are you and BB so against it anyway?

I'm not gojng to say they can use a different engine, I'm going to say:
JEPE is flexible enough to deal with either.
As admins on this particular project we're saying no because we don't have enough good spriters right now, and it's useless work that can be done LATER when the things we need to do to release the game are finished.
Understand? Final: No to DP style in PT FOR NOW. Other projects can use whatever style sprites they feel like. Just bear in mind that any DP style games will have to wait on a 3D engine, since we're not doing that just yet at JEPE.

You really don't need to treat me like a six-year-old :/ Also wouldn't it not be possible due to the fact that the battle screen would be too small to fit 80x80 sprites? .______.

Not right now, but in the next game.

I'm sorry, Spazzup. That reply wasn't particularly aimed at you, but just that there's an ongoing discussion about this when the admins have already decided. We can stretch battle screens. I guess you'd decide what module you wanted to use in your game when you download the engine to make your game.

Sorry. Okay then, that's fine. Sorry if I came off as rude or demanding
