First, what we don't need:
What we primarily need right now are worker drones; people who can fill out the wikidex templates properly with fake pokémon and real moves; people with amazing spriting ability (look at Cuddles for a good example of 'fantastic'); Java programmers; plans of maps, if not the actual XML thing; responsible people to organise and moderate (do not ask for this, see Etiquette); anyone willing to learn a new skill.
We don't need things that we already have, which means sprites, moves, berries, items, pokemon, gym leaders, trainers. Primarily we need maps and programmers.
If you think you can do any of the above, post here, and either myself or another mod/admin will point you the right way. Thanks!

Look on deviantArt for spriting tutorials and practice like hell. Or I could write a short guide to using the wiki.
