Something I noticed today is that Bulbapedia is working under a different license than we are. Their wiki license seems pretty open and liberal- * You may copy and modify Bulbapedia content, provided you attribute it to Bulbapedia. * You may copy and modify Bulbapedia content, provided it is not for commercial purposes. * You may copy and modify Bulbapedia content, provided the resulting work is also licenced under the same licence as the Bulbapedia content. What are the benefits of our license over this one?

Well, our license is quite liberal too.
* You may copy and modify the Pokémon Treasures Wikidex content, provided that you publish it under the same license (GNU FDL).
So the big difference is that they can use the content without having to contribute it back to us, and that they can use it for commercial purpose. The only thing they have to do is license it under the GNU FDL, so that if someone wants to use their modified content, they can.
The main advantage of using the GNU FDL over the CC Non-Commercial, Share Alike license is that we can legally use Wikipedia content, as much as we want, while Bulbapedia can't.

So we can't use Bulbapedia content under this license?
Do you know how to install interwiki short linking? So that something like [[bp:{{PAGENAME}}]] would link to that page on Bulbapedia? That would spare us the need to copy over things like the experience pages, which is especially useful if our license doesn't allow us to.

Well, both licenses are opensource, so I would be surprised if Bulbapedia complained over us using their content, but well.
I've added bp: & bulbapedia: to the wiki (I had to edit the database), so that should work now.
