Here's yet another handy-dandy format for posting all the information for your Pokémon. The format is as follows:
Name: Their name, duh. Must be 10 letters or less.
Type: Can be single or dual type.
Species: Basically a description of what it is, such as "Digger", "Fire Gerbil", or "Seafloor".
PokéDex: 2-3 sentences giving some flavor text about your Pokémon.
Height: In feet and inches. Remember, this is height, not length!
Weight: In pounds (lbs)
Ability: A trait such as Pickup, Flash Fire, and Soundproof. Choose one (or make one) that fits your Pokémon well. If you make one up, describe it when you're done.
Forward Sprite: The front image of your Pokémon.
Back Sprite: The back image of your Pokémon.
Mini Sprite: The little two-frame animation of your Pokémon.
Base Stats: See my Base Stats guide for some help.
HP:
Attack:
Defense:
Speed:
Special Attack:
Special Defense:
Total Stats:
Effort Value: Effort points are rewarded to a Pokémon once it defeats a opponent. The points given are based on the defeated Pokémon's highest stats. For example, Wigglytuff gives 3 effort points to HP, Pichu gives 1 effort point to Speed. If you have an evolutionary line, the first form gives out 1 effort point, the second form 2, and the third form 3. If you have a evolutionary line with 2 Pokémon, have the first reward 1, then the second reward 2. If the Pokémon doesn't evolve, make it reward 2. If the Pokémon is a legendary, it gives 3.
Breeding Group: Each Pokémon can have up to two breeding groups, based on their shape and/or type. Here's examples of Pokémon you'd find in all breeding groups.
Monster: Cubone, Snorlax
Water 1: Poliwag, Clamperl
Bug: Trapinch, Weedle
Flying: Pidgey, Zubat
Ground: Miltank, Torchic, Eevee (the general group)
Fairy: Plusle, Chansey
Plant: Oddish, Sunkern
Humanshape: Sableye, Jynx
Water 3: Lileep, Krabby
Mineral: Geodude, Nosepass (keep in mind, Lunatone, Solrock, Porygon, Voltorb, Baltoy and Beldum are in this group even though they can only breed with Ditto)
Indeterminite: Ralts, Koffing, Slugma
Water 2: Goldeen, Luvdisc
Ditto: Ditto (and only Ditto)
Dragon: Bagon, Horsea
No Eggs: Legendaries and Babies
Pick one or two based on their shapes and types.
Gender Ratio: Usually Male 50%, Female 50%. Some Pokémon have a ratio of Female 12.5%, Male 87.5%. That ratio is usually reserved for fossils or starters.
Evolutionary Line: For example, here's the evolutionary line of Pichu:
Pichu -> Pikachu (max happiness) -> Raichu (Thunder Stone)
Or Horsea's:
Horsea -> Seadra (level 32) -> Kingdra (trade with Dragon Scale attached)
Or Tangela's:
Tangela
If you'd like to do it in a different format, that's okay. Just say how a Pokémon evolves, or if it doesn't evolve at all.
Moves Learned:
What moves a Pokémon can learn. If you make up a move, please describe it below.
Egg Moves:
If the Pokémon can breed, their babies can inherit special moves that normally can't be learned by the species from a father of a different species. For example, Bagon can get Hydro Pump from a Horsea father, Murkrow can get Drill Peck from a Spearow father, or Charmander can get Bite from a Larvitar father. Be reasonable.
Here's an example, one I made called Pegazelle.
Name: Pegazelle
Type: Light/Flying
Species: Wing Horse
PokéDex: Pegazelle is often seen on high, mist-shrouded mountains. It is very sensitive to intruders and tends to flee if sighted.
Height: 3 feet and 4 inches
Weight: 65 lbs.
Ability: Serene Grace
