Hey, I found something for those people who know nothing about java, or very little, that you guys would really like! I was busy searching for some stuff that gives advice to make my own websites, when I found a very useful site that I think you might like. I found an old webpage that contains turtorials on how to program java! For those of you who are curious, here is the link and how I found it: www.make-a-web-site.com/Click on the link and then go straight to the part that mentions java. When the page pulls up, go to the programming link. An entire mess of tutorials await!

I guess that's www.pageresource.com/jscript/ . But, unfortunately, that site's owner has made a mistake; while Java and JavaScript are closely related, they're not quite the same. It would be helpful, but only more like a basic intro to Java than a full tutorial.

Sorry. I got so excited that I didn't look closely. I'll try harder next time.

It's a pitty, indeed. It's still nice of you to post it here however. Here are some good, official, tutorials: java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorialI learned quite a bit from thme, so if anybody's interested, please take a look. Besides, I wouldn't even call Javascript related to java. Though javascript is named after java, and though it's also a programming language, that's about all they've got in common. Javascript handles objects, variables and functions in a completely different way than java. The tutorial you provided could be helpful as an introduction to programming in general, but not to java.
