You may have to click on the links in order to see the sprites. It didn't turn out exactly as I planned it.

Ok right size. you could make them fill the area if you like. The look a little chunky and they need shaded still. also it is always good to use official pokemon color palettes. do you mind if i try to edit some of them.

Thanks for the advice. I'll remember that. Hey, by the way, what's your opinion for the looks of a small, humanoid Pokemon called Deltagon that can control dimensions? I hit a roadblock in creating it, and I need some advice.

Sorry, but you need to do a lot of work.... The map has a lot wrong with it. I suggest you look at an official map and compare it, and you my map template (which can be found in my sprite thread) I really like the look of the snakes. XD Usually there is at least one mammal starter, though. But that's not too much of a problem. However, the fire dragon is too much like charizard and the basic-stages of starters do not look like they are basic. It is hard to describe it... The legends are okay, but don't truly look legendary. Sorry I don't know how to explain it either. XD The pterodactyl looks good for a start. Also I can't see any of the fakemon art in your last post with the lati guardian...

Just so that you guys know, there are a few very important things that you guy's need to find out about my Pokemon. #1: When the fire dragon (Smokasaur) evolves into his final stage, he becomes something much different than Charizard, so that's taken care of. #2: Kongamator and Emelantukos (the pterosaur and the horned dinosaur) are both cryptid Pokemon, and are not truly considered legendaries except for the fact that they are rare. #3: Since there are over 200 Pokemon, there are many more legendaries to come (Volcanodon and Glaciogren are to my games as Groudon and Kyogre are to Ruby/Sapphire). What's more, each legendary is unique and original (Latoas is an exception, seeing as I made him when I was younger and I couldn't keep the idea out of my mind when I made his sprite). #4: There are tons of mammals in my games' Pokedex, so I thought that it would be a good idea to make my starter Pokemon the way they are now, so that people don't get bored with all of the mammals in the game. (Besides that, if you guys saw the final stages of each of these Pokemon, you would agree with the idea of two reptiles and an amphibian as starters).

There happens to be a very common type of Pokemon that can be found in my game: The dragons. In Pokemon Volcano/Glacier, there is a whole section of things that a person can do when they defeat the game, and most of it has to do with dragons. For example, in Pokemon Volcano, a trainer who has defeated the elite four and the Master's triumph league can enter the Dragon Breeding grounds (basically, Volcano's version of Cerulean cave and Sky Tower). You can find dragons from all over the world, like Dragonite, Flygon, Salamence, Garchomp (from diamond and pearl if anyone was wondering, which I hope they weren't), even legendaries like Lugia, Rayquaza, Palkia and Dialga (I am going to mention that these legendaries are either clones or children of the originals. What's more, they are still classified as legendaries). There are even dragons that I made up (Chromolong, Pyrolisk, Quetzalcoatldon [notice the amount of dragon names I added to their names] etc.). Of course, the Pokedex is not entirely dragon. You have to see for yourself exactly what there is, once I complete everything.

To make things look younger (which would be a good idea for the starters), make the heads and eyes bigger, and the arms and legs shorter. If you look at the young pokémon, they can barely reach their eyes. Mostly the eyes are the thing to change though.

Thanks. I happen to have more sprites on my other computer, but since it has no internet connection whatsoever it is hard to transfer files to the one I am using. I have some pretty cool stuff.

By the way, do you guys remember early on in this thread that I mentioned a Pokemon called Knifate? Well, I just finished it's sprites, and the sprites for its evolutions! If you guys would like, I can show you.

Sorry about the wait. My internet server kicked me off, so I couldn't talk for an entire week. The sprites will be in in about a moment

Finally here for all to see, the sprites for my three metal/dark type pokemon! They are as follows: Knifate Originally thought to be a sacraficial blade used by the aztecs, explorers were shocked when the red pommel stone reared up and attacked! Bladoom The terrifying result of four Knifate fusing together, this Pokemon will grab at prey with its four sharp "fingers." Swordeath The gruesome result of when three Bladoom fuse as one, this pokemon will grab at prey with its topmost arm, then use the other two for its legendary butchery! These sprites and/or their descriptions need a little work. Please comment on them.

A lot of people have given up; most of those who haven't are working on the game.

Yeah, this place is basically a couple hard workers in the pile of the stinking corpses of those who gave up.
I could help with the map, I'm good at that.
Also: Hi guys! Dropping in for a visit.

By map, do you mean region or overworld? Because overworld is what we really need.

Region, mainly, but I have some overworld skills. Provided I could get ahold of a proper tileset, I could do alot of work on that. I have lots of spare time.

Well, you could always plan maps with a grid rather than actually making them. For one thing, static maps are nice but a bit useless for us, they need to be XML to be read by the game. Look in the OMG PT isn't dead thread for a grid systemy thing that I use.

Sorry I haven't gotten a chance to reply to any of you guys in a while; I have had to deal with one of the worst internet crises to think of, so I couldn't reply to anything all summer. I'm back now, and I have many new ideas!
