I want as much help as I can get. It will have over 1500 pokemon, over 50 new regions, and over 1000 different shadow pokemon to catch. I want this to be the best video game ever. I want lots of help to bring it to the top. The program used to make it hasn't been created yet. Here is site www.geocities.com/pokemon_trade_cards Here are some pokemon. They were made by me. (don't worry, not all are this bad.) Regizard Steel/Fire Marbull Water/Normal Rayjazz Electric/Bug

ARE YOU @##$#% INSANE?
You can't possibly finish a game with that much. Cut the regions down to a max of 5 (Which is still a tad high) and cut out all the Pokemon that look like cheap splices (All the ones you posted)

I'm not insane!! It is possible to finish a game. It would take a while. It's not my fault they look like cheap slices or splices. You aren't part of my game. I promised myself that I won't give up no matter what. (I gave up on about 10 other games)

You've got to think about all the coding that goes into a pokémon game - base stats, EVs, effort points, damage calculation, weather effects, attack effects - and that's just battling, which is a tiny part of the overall experience.

I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but let me put it out there for you. You CAN NOT, and I mean CAN NOT, complete a game with 50 GOOD regions and 1500 CREATIVE, NON- SPLICED pokemon. Attempting to even do this, although you say you're serious, is futile. For example, look how long it took Nintendo to create R/S, having only one region and more than 100 pokemon. They took more than a year to make it, even a large body of workers, how do you plan to pull off 50 regions and 1500 pokemon with a small, inexprienced staff?
That being said, if you want your project to be successful, you need to think really hard about what you're gonna do. For your project, I'll say you have at least 1-2 small regions, and a very little amount of new pokemon, being that making up GOOD ideas for them are very hard. Once again:
-1 to 2 regions -Very little new pokemon (Stalls your project's progress if have too many you can't create) -Sweet, well-thought of storyline -Creative towns/cities -Some nothing new to the pokemon table
In a nutshell, your players want to be amazed. Attempt to make your game the way you'd want Nintendo to make theirs. No one wants to play a crappy, unoriginal pokemon game that follows the trend of the others - everything planned, bunch of regions, bunch of pokemon, 2 weeks later, gone with the wind. So like I said, brainstorm, it doesn't hurt to ask the people here for help too. Just by looking at their work, they know what it takes to make a satisfying game.

You can have 50 regions if you count each route, city, sea route, forest, and gyms as a region.

If you want 50 regions and 15000 new pokemon you must do somthing drastic... put ALL of your free time into it! Who said all those regions had to be huge? Who said all those 15000 pokemon had to well thought out? (well... cut down on the new pokemon its a little... HUGE) You can put in all those shadow pokemon if you devoted a few regions to shadow pokemon. And if this game is still being made even when your 40 you will be proud of it!... I think I just gave a speech.............. good luck...
