Well, here's the down-low. Cobalt, founder and admin of CCf (Cobalt City Forums) decided to leave due to not feeling comfortable there in this announcement and then Ceres, creator of the board and founder of Talia, their second region, decided to quit since Cobalt left in this announcement.Really, this is likely to hamper them down in their creative process without the founders, and I say a few of us should go try and help them out a bit. Remy, Senki (likely to be their second admin, as Xeno is there now) and Zero do already, and I will try also. Anyone else? (FMY, they could use a basic site. Just intro, in which Xeno (skarmorix@hotmail.com) would write, and possibly a Pokedex for now.

Can't see the page. But will it actually be such a big turn down? Shadolf was like not here for several months at 1 time, and we still managed to do well. Edit: oh wait, no, that was when our forum was like a dead board...

So they are done? What the heck happened Matt? I don't feel like registering so if you could just summarize, it'd be helpful.

Well, Cobalt went on holiday and felt like a stranger in his own forum, so he decided to quit. Ceres, who was only at CCf because of Cobalt followed him and Xeno took his place. Now, they still need a second admin.
As for the site, I will surely help them if they can keep going for 2 months. I've only got 5 days left, and still have to finish the new site. It's summer again, so that means I'll be away for 2 months.

Hi, I'm Darth Kiwi. I was away, enjoying myself while CCF burned to the ground. Cobalt and Ceres left, leaving us with Xeno. They want me(WHO THE HECK IS THEY, OTHER THAN THE PEOPLE WHO I'VE ALREADY SPOKEN TO) to be their second admin. I got pissed off that Cobalt and Ceres left, and I had an outburst, which Zero witnessed. I calmed down, but I don't think I can handle being admin, since I tend to scare new members away. Oh yeah, I'm Senki, if you were wondering.

I will eventually have to leave.
Before this game is finished, I think I'll have to stop...I'll be in college soon and I won't be able to handle it.
Edit by BR: Intriguing. This post is no longer "Thank god you guys have me, I shanty ever leave.", and neither is my sig. Tut-tut.

Well, so much for high hopes. Xeno(who is anti-Treasures) decided that he can run Cyare, Talia, and his game, Baltyss all by himself. Until August. *calls to Zero for assitance*

Ridiculous if you ask me, being admin of two fangames required skills Xeno doesn't posess. He doesn't realise he needs help. Thát, and he butchered my giraffe bug. >=(

Is it really that hard to be an admin? I've been an admin here for just alittle less than a year, and I'm still feeling as carefree as ever.

I know really. It's not hard to be one at all. The only thing is sometimes it could take up time, and that's why I told myself I wouldn't be the only one doing it, and developed the wonderful team I have now And I'm pretty sure Xeno is anti-Treasures because of how we treated him because he was little Mr. Spam-a-lot, am I right? And what do you mean he tries to be random, DK?

Yeah, but the way CCF is, you need more than one admin, and Xeno doesn't think that.
And he talks about world domination a lot, but doesn't do a good job. He tries to make up his own words, but it comes across as stupid(His name is Xeno, the Omegarator).
And, a tad offtopic, but soon we shall know where the 2012 Olympics shall be! Yay!

LOL now that's funny ;D
When exactly is the vote announced? I know it's on Wednesday (in Singapore time? because it's 8:30 am in Singapore right now, Wednesday morning). And I am busy tomorrow and I really want to find out. Either way, I am going to them, whichever city they're in. But NYC has never had it and I have a sense of pride in my state/country. Come on New York!

I think it'll be announced sometime Wednesday morning in Europe. Wherever the Olympic Comittee is located. I'm pulling for New York, so I can go. I'll be out of high school(whee!), and I won't be travelling to Madrid, Paris, or Moscow, so it's either New York or London. Go New York!
EDIT: From the IOC Site:
Election of the host city for 2012
05 July 2005
On 6 July in Singapore, IOC members will elect the host city for the Games of the XXX Olympiad in 2012. The vote will take place in the framework of the 117th IOC Session, according to the following programme: Presentation of the Candidate Cities The session on 6 July will begin directly with the Candidate Cities’ presentations, in the following order: - 09.00 Paris - 10.30 New York - 12.00 Moscow - 14.30 London - 16.00 Madrid Report by the Evaluation Commission At 17.15, IOC Evaluation Commission Chairwoman Nawal el Moutawakel will present the Commission’s report, which will be followed by the IOC members’ vote. Announcement of the result The announcement ceremony will start at 19:30 (GMT + 8). The result will be announced thereafter by the IOC President.

Ooh. 6:30 for me. Since I have to share a room with my baby cousin, I should be up WAY before that. Joy. Aye, the founders just called me an annoyance among other things, so I'll be spending more time here. EDIT: The winner is London! And we forgave each other. But I'll still be spending more time here.

LMAO for 2020? I don't know, supposedly Denver, Colorado; Kuala Lampur, Malaysia; Prague, Czech Republic; LA, California; and Cape Town, South Africa have expressed interest.
I've heard that New York is looking to bid for 2016, which is good. And it's highly unexpected for a European city to get it since London has it in 2012, so something on North or South America has a higher chance, particularly in the US, because of some "unwritten convention" of NBC sponsoring the IOC, that the US tends to host approximately every 20 years. So I've got my fingers crossed.

The chance of Sudbury getting the olympics is as likely as Nintendo buying Treasures from us for $20,000 each, and keeping us in the credits and on the box.
We only have about 150,000 people. What's the smallest city that's housed the olympics before?
