Maybe the pandas could have high offensive stats, learn maybe 1 Grass move (with bamboo) and Confusion (with spiral pattern) but stay normal type.

I had fun and made a little Qina sprite: Maudi line? Wildcats; Kitynx, Felynx, and Feralynx. Figured I'd give them all another go:

Now, seems like we've got some very creative people, and excellent artists. I really like these new pokémon, except for the magpies which are, indeed, too realistic.
Funny name by the way "earwig", I didn't know it was called like that in English. We call it "oorworm" (ear worm).

Wig is old english for worm, i think, so it's pretty much the same XD Might give the magpies another go, I dunno.
I like those wildcats much better! Not sure about Mauvelo, because I tried to give it a spiky, aerodynamic feel. I would imagine the fish-bone parts would give those cats high defence stats.

OrangeK, I really like a lot of your Pokemon.
Many of them are First Generationesque, which in my opinion, had the greatest looking Pokemon.

Glowworms wouldn't be daytime pokemon now would they? I'm still thinking about those... Nice sprites though, very nice

You use dithering a lot... The back foot of the second cat has no outline, apart from that, great ^^

Continuing the quest to design some good DAYTIME-ish Bug Types:I like it, because although very natural, normal, and not very surprising for an early encounter POKEMON, it's very... ...gimmicky. I love the idea of Nestess' trait. Any feedback? I like these guys, but I also really love Chargnat. I'm kinda torn. EDIT: *gasp!* Who will win?!

Ahhh! They're both so good! *torn* Random fact: You and Andrew Kepple, someone I know from another forum and various of his animations, both have Aotearoa listed as your locations. You crazy Kiwis

I really like those Nestoid ones! As far as I'm concerned, those can be the day bugs. Your electric glow-worms can be in too, of course. Just not sure where. Mystery Forest, maybe?

The Nestoid line is cool! I like the male / female idea, it's like a lot of the early-catch pokemon. Try spriting them when you get the chance, I'd like to see them in the game!

So far I've put down as having the Kittynx, Chacora and Nestoid lines for daytime, and Maudi, Crogin and Glorva lines for night, with the Chargnat line later on as higher level critters (like Venonat or Illumise/Volbeat). Does that suit you, OrangeKecleon? Also, no ned for th e bouncing rat thing cuckoos I think this will be enough.. it brings us to 130ish.

Sounds fine. Hopefully I'll finish spriting the Nestoid and Kitynx lines before the end of the week. I could have a go at spriting Crogin too, if that's acceptable - I'm worried it'll look too much like Murkrow as it evolves, though, wouldn't it be better to do a nocturnal bird that hasn't been covered yet?
A kiwi or frogmouth, for example. The baby Crogin design looks awesome, and could easily evolve into either rather than a (Murk) crow.

I guess.. crows and ravens are just so good as Dark/Flying The frogmouths look like owls - perhaps that would be better? They could eat Maudis.

As an adminny admin, I'm going to attempt to actually make something final. However since this is PT, there are still some bits missing anyway. If you have a problem with this we'll see what we can work out.
Day bugs: Nestoid line Night bugs: Glorva Line Day mammals: Kittynx line Night mammals: Maudi line Day birds: Chapica line Night Birds: Crogin line with a new owl evolution.
I'll see what I can come up with for the owl, and meantime I'll ask Antarctros from PF if he can come up with better drawings of the magpies. The Wignat line will also be added; you'll be able to find them around the power station (wherever that is). We might make a feature like DP's honey, except you'll be able to spread it on the posts that hold up overhead railways; that would be a good way to find Wignats, don't you think?

Are we going to use the Qina & Quinda? I really think we should considering we have few to no normal types.

Yeah, we'll use them too. They can go on any mountains we have.
