www.geocities.com/cobaltcitydragon/region.html(If the link don't work, try just going to the main site and get to it from there) So, I bet you're thinking -Map..Music...Corn Chips...- or something rather similar, but bear with me here. Firstly, I think our maps should have the FRLG location element on them where you put a little blueish thing where a cave or w/e is. Then, we make our default maps like the one above, with links as soon as we have maps, but maybe brief descriptions now. We need a right click disable script to make it more difficult (or just more time consuming) for thieves to get their hands on ANYTHING on the site. Then, as well as a link to a description, we put the same maps on the music page. The links instead lead to the music used there. A similar concept can be used on the trainer sections, and possibly for Pokemon, but then again, only legends get their own themes. Anyone follow? Anyone who knows HTML or PHP or all that crap willing to help FMY so my un-ending ideas don't cause him to explode?

Yes. I guess I didn't see the new ones. Unless you just made them.

Is Eden Falls on there And Mt. Silver? Now, as my idea stated, someone (which will likely end up being me) has gotta cut these up into routes cities..etc. so you can click on them and go to their info. On the page, rather than on the music page, you can click on "This places' music", to listen to it. Good or bad or impossible idea?

Ok, I'll do it when I remade the pokedex, since I've got some more time now.
Off course all help is welcome, but you don't really need to know HTML to help, gatting all information at one place would be very helpfull already.

Is all the music MIDI?
I ask because, well, if you link directly to the music file, no matter what format the music is in, it will be immensely easy for those thieves you speak of to snag it... just a matter of File -> Save As... in most media players.
Now, if the music were all mp3s, there are some (relatively simple) methods of creating an online media player (using Java... or Flash... or something, I forget). Whereas, if the music is all MIDI, it's still possible but a lot trickier.
Now, I don't really know much about it, I just know this from the guy who designed my site (which will, if finished, have an online MIDI-player). Just something to note, seeing as you appeared concerned about thieves.

I still know the simple way to get MIDI's off the net, it's the same problem we have for MP3's anyways.
Is it possible to turn it into a Flash "Radio" player like at poketours? (If you haven't seen that site, it's where we got the radio tunes) That was ALOT harder to get out. Of course, based on my idea in this topic, you click on the part of the map you want the music to play for, and it would play, but that seems hard to coordinate. Then there's always battle themes and intro themes and themes we have but we may not use..@_@

Man, why is everyone so afraid of thieves. I think everyone can use it, as long as they give credit. We did the same with Nintendo's sprites, and ideas.
Besides that, I don't know flash.

I was just pointing it out, based on matt's theivophobia...
There may be a way with HTML to have an embedded media player (optionally hidden to prevent thieves...), and have the links change what music is played in that player. I know that an embedded player is possible... that method, however, will be a pain for browser compatibility, methinks.

I never worried before, I was just going by your idea. I would've thought of something earlier.
Just for some of our tunes I think.

And to change it, you only need javascript. I think there's nothing wrong with the system we have now however, and I want to finish the rest of the site first.
