This is my team for Flora...
Saying: Hello, I am Flora of the (Town Name) Gym. As a Gym Leader I am obligated to battle you. Unlike otehr trainers I will not be a pushover.
Team: Tangela Lv 10-12 Tangela Evo Lv 12-14
End Saying: Very good! You have proven your worth. I hereby issue you the Fauna??? Badge. I also give you TM (??). Fill in the rest.

I thought she was going to have a Shroomish/Breloom. Anyways, I like the sayings.

Well I saw a seimi pattern... Brock had two fairly unrelated pokemon, Falkner's were in the same family, Roxanne's followed the same suit as Brcok. So I'm going to do the samething that happened to Falkner.

It makes better sense to introduce new Pokemon in the games earlier, rather than using a Tangela of which we all know about.
And Tangela evolves late, at level 32, if an item is attached to it.

So Pidgeotto evolved at level 18, but Falkner some how got one. There are many pokemon that are catchable before they evolved. Like Raticate, Pidgeotto, and some others.
Course I really wanted to use Shroomish and that fossil poke.

Well there's a big difference between a level nine Tangela evo that usally exists at level 32 and a level 9 Pidgeotto that evolves at level 18.

I don't know why, but Flora seems more like the leafy Grass kind of trainer, rather than the mossy kind like Tangela or fungus kind like a Breloom. You don't have to change BB, but Stagplant doesn't seem like a bad Runner-Up.

Actually, I was thinking of a Hoppip, and a new Grass type.
By the way, I'd rather have Flora be a bit arrogant and sassy.

Stagplant would be good. Citrus (Tropius pre-evo) would be good if pre-evo's would be allowed. I know this couldn't be done but Petital fits her as well (could we allow gym leaders with starters)? In g/s/c, trainers had the old starters, and I think Chikorita would fit her, too. Maybe Bulbasaur, too. Roselia would also fit. Those six pokemon are definitely the best grass types for her, but they do not have to be selected. Three of them are starters and one is a pre-evo...

One arrogant and sassy dialogue coming up!
Beginning: Good day and welcome to the ____ City Gym. I'm the gym leader, of course, Flora, and spend my time raising elegant grass types. Nobody lives up to me in battle as I spend my brains and money training and raising my beautiful flowers. There's no way some traveling creature will beat me!
End: Very well. The trainer has proved worthy of my superior badge. Take the Fauna Badge and get out of my gym! Oh, and this thing. I bought it at a gardening sale and have no use for it.
TRAINER received TM __!
This TM contains flower bloom, a gorgeous attack that may lower accuracy. I have no use for it considering I am a professional gardener. TM's can be taught to one pokemon so use it wisely. Farewell, may we meet again...
