Why resprite them all, when we could resprite one?
Seriously you are not all that helpful.
Apologizing now, I am in a bitchy mood today.

I tried resizing it. I also got rid of the cow lick. Now, the head looks less like the Galaxy person. Edit-Except the arms still don't look right.

Now, that's a nice one. We'll use that one then.

The hands are big and the one on our right is a weird shape.
We need to be consistent with sprites, because they are in different styles, not just bigger. This one will look like a zoomed in smaller sprite, or a big, heavyset person. The shading works slightly different too - DS sprites don't have the lighter shading colour that GBA games had. And since, for the time being, not all of the staff members and coders have played DP, and on top of that DP has 3D stuff in it, we're sticking to the GBA graphics. 3D is a major headache, and besides, it doesn't look all that nice compared to the wonderful pixel maps we've got from mls. If we have some DP pokemon sprites, it means respriting all of PT's pokemon - we've been redoing one or another at a time for ages to try to make them more consistent (and to be frank, better). Leaving some in one style and some in another will look strange and therefore bad. (there are a few exceptions but only a few - pidgeotto's GBA sprite is nicer, for instance). The same goes for trainers. We should update everything in each part of the game together (overworld, battle, contest etc) together, or not at all. It will be easier to update once the game is working and distributed somewhat - the more people playing, the more bug testers we have.

Oh well, the 3D things will simply be impossible in the first JEPE versions, but since the pokémon & trainer sprite size will be dynamic, updating the images won't be a problem. I'm fine with GBA graphics anyway, it just was that I loved the big sprite, but not the smaller ones, until BuffyBoy made one.
