Refurbishing your created Pokémon sprites

Sometimes, we artists can create a Pokémon, but something about it just...doesn't look right.

Maybe the quality is poor. Maybe the sprite is larger than 64 x 64 pixels. Maybe the new Pokémon resembles its base used far too much. Maybe the outline is jaggedy.

Well, if you have a solid sprite for a Pokémon you created, just ask here and I'll try my best at refurbishing it into what you originally wanted.

If you're looking for a specific change (like adding stripes, re-doing the whole head, a tail, or changing colors) please tell me. If you aren't specific, I may refurbish it not to your liking.

I'll work with front, back, and mini sprites. Just be aware that there are some sprites that need minor tweaks, and others that need to be completely redone. Please specify what you're after.

If you're not satisfied with the refurbished sprite, you can ask me to tweak it further or to just keep it the way it was.

Keep in mind that I don't fully understand shading, so the images won't be perfect.

And that's okay that you don't understand shading, it is really hard, and most people (including myself) find it hard to do.

Tell me again...who's Kuwagin? Shadolf should really list their names by the pictures.
I took a look at Gatorock and I couldn't think of anything to improve. It's a gator head with a tail, and the sprite perfectly captures this essense.

this is calling on a lot of refirbishment. Unlike my last sprites this one is not from scratch.



It is a Steel/Dragon I'm making. yes good types, but base stats aren't going to be above 500 to make up for it.

Could you fix the metal plates on the head, make the head a bit more dragonish, fix the horns, wings, arm, add another arm possibly hand if nessicary, change the legs, fix the metal plates on the chest, and finally add spikes going down the back.

Very nice Ket shi. I can't wait to see it with its wings. could you add some more leaves on the tail? I hope you don't mind making tthe tail longer if you need too.

Oh yeah, Ket shi, its looking almost exactly the way I imagined it. I guess the saying "Great minds thing alike is true. Care to take a guess at who the original sprite was?

I'm guessing that was my post you deleted. Well if you want you can use the sprite in the game. I thought it was quite good and with Ket Shi's help it will look very good. It could be flying/dark.
