Nice. Two things (only). The Sputteren line's colours don't seem to blend so well. The Leta line doesn't look so different... how about switch the body colours with the armour colours? I think that would be great. The rest is great!

Uhhhh well the shinies are controlled by the Pokemon sprite's palette.
And I would prefer evolutions of old ones to have similar color schemes as their relatives.
Also, they really need to match up a little more. I mean, the Takibi just looks weird, especially in the fact that it's fire, and it's a weird blue
I'll post the picture later with the ones I liked, and comment on how to make some of them better so they aren't too bright on the eyes.

Just simple editing the palette isn't enough. Like Shadolf said, quite a few have to match up with their relatives (for example, Togepi has the patterns with swapped colours). Plus, (like above) some colours REALLY don't match the Pokemon. I'd take Lioter for a example. Oh, yeah, and I won't be swapping anything in the Leta line, unless instructed to do so by someone higher in the hierachy. By the way, Mirreflect's shiny front sprite edges are not dark enough. Try a bit harder (it's worth it) and you can do it. Sites like pokemonelite200.com show you the shiny sprites of all Pokemon from the National Dex system. Er... I mean all except Munchlax. So, you can do the relative thing, plus try again with the ones that don't look too good. That's all. If the satisfaction of doing it is not enough, think of the positive things we can say, and maybe if your stuff is used (and quite a lot) land in the credits or the staff page on the main site. Or maybe redo ALL of them as if it were work for a Nobel Prize? Just advice... constructive critiscism... yes, that's it.

You were rude? Didn't notice... Yeah, try them again. There is a high chance that they will be good. Remember, a good deed a day brings happiness to stay! And remember, I am not the Poke Dude, and this is not the Poke Dude Show!

I like them alot, but for some reason the original sprites in your chart seem to have slightly different colours, maybe it's because of the format it has been saved in (png?). Also, quite a number of the sprites I made has been altered as well. If only you have msn then I can easily send them to you. Don't really have time to upload them all.

We can let ShinE take a crack at them. It's his job at PF, and he's good. But either way, doesn't the PO program have a palette swap for shinies?

Erm, guys, the Leta line shinies are NOT supposed to be blue. I wrote a whole essay about the Leta line and its shinies, darn it...

Yup, I know Dragonfree. The shinies are supposed to be black. Quite an interesting story ^-^
Anyways, I'm not too keen about using the pallet swapping tool for creating Shinies. 'Cause the tool changes all colors, while quite a lot of Nintendo's Pokémon only change some of their body parts (Kecleon belly stripe is the only thing that changes; Wailmer's and Wailord's bellies remain the same etc.). That's why I make shinies just by hand in Paint, by taking the Nintendo Pokémon that best resembles the Pokémon I'm doing - and change the colors accordingly.
Now, I wouldn't mind trying them, but I'm kinda busy with school at the moment. So, if you guys aren't in a hurry with these, I would be happy to try my hand at them too, but it could take a while.

Heh, every herd of wild Leta/Letal/Letaligon has a leader who's a shiny Letaligon. If you catch a shiny Leta, you'll be taking the potential heir to the throne.

Nice! Anyway, here are two examples of Shinies I did a while ago. These are Shiny Humird and Shiny Humisher (duh ). I based their shiny forms on the Taillow/Swellow line, since they share the blue and red colors. As you can see, I left the green green - and no, I didn't use the color pallette swapping tool for this. I did this manually. I hope you like these two. I think they make sense.

Nice! Makes sense. But, even if Taillow and Swellow don't change eye colour, I think it would be nice in this case.

Good point. Well, considering that I did these just quickly, I'll take a look at that when I start doing them all. (I think I'll start working on them this weekend.)
ShinEdit: As Cuddles mentioned already, the chart with the original sprites has some slightly different colors. Could anyone post a chart here that hasn't suffered from that problem?

Sorry ShinE, and allright so they do suck, but yell at, I think it was KARR, who had the idea for switching Letal's Armour with its fur/skin color. Oh, and I did Humawk in the same style as ShinE's

Shinies depend on the palette. If the right colors are on the palette, then we get the proper shinies. I believe that is how it works.

I've had this since I had the original sprite. When I originally created it I had this idea that the shiny form would look more like clay than the original. I think it would be a LOT better if the shinies were controlled so that they could have little quirks like that. Making them random just seems to be underutilising the entire feature.
