Yea,but doesn't that cut a part of the sprite? Cuz the black boxes are clearly going over the parts of the sprites...

Nope, it's not cutting off anything. It boxes the 16x16 tiles, not cuts them.

Yeah, it's 16px tile, 1px grid, 16px tile,...
Also, DP, these are just previews, the in-game version will look the same, but will be redone. We have more than one level you know.

No, you need 2 levels/layers to make it possible to walk behind a tree for example. Maybe layer would have been a better word.

Aaaaaaa, yes like in RM2k3 or RMXP(but it has 3 layers).

I believe we can have more than one layer. The reason I asked whoever wanted to fix the tilesets into a grid to turn any grass in tiles to default purple is for that purpose.

The last version of the PO editor had three layers...the first being things like ground that you can walk on, the second being things you can't walk on or through, like houses and rocks and trees, and the third being things you can walk behind, like the upper roof of houses and the top part of the trees.

RMXP only has three layers, from which your first three are correct, the fourth is the same as the first and others are only passability options.

Hey, what about weather effects? Won't those be above the stuff you can walk behind even?

Post by mattgcn on Jun 26, 2005 14:02:35 GMT
I don't think weather effects count as tiles, though.

It's perfect! Now we need the FPV and inside tiles. Also, I have a few trainers that go with this-
Headmaster (Earl) Student Female Student Male Teacher Male Custodian (Just a fun battle)
Also, we already have- Teacher Female Schoolboy Schoolgirl Classmates Roxanne (She teaches a class or two for a bit once a month)

A question, why do some of the items have different colour options? Are they different kinds of tree, for instance, or will it be in-game preference or random or something?
